A nerd by birth, Steve is likeable, quirky, and honest.  He avoids easy laughs while relating true stories and unique insights with wit and passion.  Intellectual, yet accessible, Steve believes that life and comedy are a science.

After winning a competition for new comics in Calgary, Steve Scholtz moved to Toronto.  There he won the “Funniest Person With a Day Job” and was one of the top 5 upcoming comics nominated for the Tim Sims Encouragement Award which aired on the Canadian Comedy Network as “The Cream of Comedy”.  Always performing, he has been featured on Satellite Radio, CBC Radio and Television and recently was invited to the Boston Comedy Festival and the Montreal Comedy Festival, Just for Laughs.  He now lives in Los Angeles.
